Distance Running

I love running because it gives me a sense of freedom and clarity that I don't find anywhere else. When I'm out on a run, it's just me and the road, and everything else fades away. There's something about the rhythm of my feet hitting the pavement and the steady pace of my breath that brings a sense of calm. It's like my mind resets, and I can think more clearly. Whether I'm running through a busy city street or a quiet park, it allows me to escape the noise of daily life and focus on the present moment. Running also makes me feel strong and accomplished. Every mile I conquer, every training session I push through, is a reminder that I’m capable of more than I sometimes give myself credit for. It’s not just about physical strength—it’s about building mental resilience too. I enjoy the challenge of setting goals and seeing myself improve over time, whether it’s shaving a few seconds off my pace or simply completing a longer distance.

My running hobby has been progressing well, and I’ve already completed two half marathons. I'm currently focused on achieving a sub-2-hour finish by the end of the year. Regular training, with the goal of building endurance and fine-tuning my technique, has been key to my improvement. Looking ahead, I plan to keep pushing toward my goal, which will likely involve adding interval training to increase speed, focusing on pacing strategies, and incorporating recovery techniques to prevent injury. Running keeps me grounded, and I’m excited to see where my efforts take me. The steady progress and the motivation to improve fuel my drive, and I’m excited to continue measuring my growth throughout the year.

Traveling

I’ve always had a deep love for traveling—it’s not just about seeing new places, but about experiencing different cultures and stepping outside my usual routine. I enjoy the feeling of exploring unfamiliar environments, meeting new people, and learning about their way of life. Traveling gives me a fresh perspective on the world and reminds me that there’s so much more to discover beyond my own bubble. It’s a way for me to connect with the broader world while also challenging myself to adapt to new situations. Every trip is an opportunity to expand my horizons, whether it’s trying new foods, discovering hidden gems, or simply experiencing a new rhythm of life in a different city.

Recently, I took a trip to Mexico City, where I was able to explore both art and architecture, two of my passions. I visited museums, galleries, and historical landmarks, taking in the city's rich cultural offerings. The experience was eye-opening, and I appreciated how the city blended the old with the new, creating an exciting contrast between modernity and tradition. I was reminded of how much I value immersive cultural experiences and the unique vibe each city brings.

These recent travels have further fueled my desire to see more of the world and experience the diverse ways people live and create. Traveling continues to inspire me, offering both new opportunities for personal growth and unforgettable memories. Even though I didn't make it to Costa Rica, my passion for exploring new places remains strong, and I look forward to my next adventure.
